Hydrogen water without a separate device: what the Osmora Premium does (and doesn't do)
Hydrogen water is water with extra hydrogen gas (H₂) dissolved in it. If you want to drink it, you'll usually buy a separate device: a hydrogen generator, a special bottle or a stick. One more thing on the counter, one more thing to charge and keep clean. That clashes with the reason many people buy a filter in the first place: less clutter, less hassle, just good water from your own tap.
The Osmora Premium takes a different approach. The hydrogen stage is built into the same unit that filters and remineralises your tap water.
What the Osmora Premium does
In the Premium, the water goes through three stages, always in the same order.
01 · Filtering
A pre-filter catches sand, rust and suspended particles and improves the flavour. The water then passes through a 0.0001 micron reverse osmosis membrane.
02 · Remineralising
Reverse osmosis leaves the water stripped. The remineralisation stage then gives it back calcium and magnesium, so it tastes full rather than flat.
03 · Adding hydrogen
Finally, the unit adds hydrogen gas (H₂) to the filtered, remineralised water. This happens inside the unit itself: no separate generator, no extra bottle, no extra step. You just pour a glass; the unit does the rest.
Why in one unit
The benefit is mainly practical. One appliance instead of three: no filter jug, no mineral drops and no hydrogen bottle lined up on the counter. One plug, one filter set a year, one place your drinking water comes from.
Because everything sits in one filter set, there's also just one maintenance moment: after 12 months at most or around 750 litres, whichever comes first. The unit gives you a filter alert, and the manual tells you exactly what to do.
On top of that, the Premium also controls the temperature, from cold up to 95 °C. So the unit doesn't just replace standalone hydrogen gadgets, but also the filter jug in the fridge and the kettle on the counter.
What we deliberately don't promise
There are big promises going around about hydrogen water. We don't make them, and that's a choice.
We don't state a concentration. How much hydrogen is in your glass has not been independently measured. We won't write down a number we can't back up.
We don't promise any effect. Research into hydrogen-rich water is still ongoing. A 2024 systematic review in the International Journal of Molecular Sciences sets out the published studies; the authors themselves call for larger, more rigorously designed follow-up research. Until that exists, we present hydrogen as what it is: a feature of the unit, not a promise about what it does for you.
